After 3 years of playing together; busking, doing private parties, or playing such legendary Seattle venues as Café Racer or Seattle Jazz Vespers, Hobbit & Hare decided they wanted record their first release. But how to afford it?

How about, instead of dithering about it, we just "pull the trigger" with what money we can come up with, record a single, and then try to "bootstrap" the proceeds from the single to help defray the costs of the full CD? Yeah! that's the ticket.

So your $2 (or more!) will go towards studio time, providing a small honorarium to the wonderful guest artists we're bringing in, and final duplication costs for the CD itself.

Oh yeah... I know it says it's an album, but that's just because there's more than one track on it and we're so old we remember buying singles on 45 rpm vinyl with an "A side" and a "B side" song on them.

Also, we know it's the moral equivalent of a "dad joke" but we couldn't resist the opportunity to announce our "hit single" was for sale.
